Something incredible happens when you walk together with someone…
YOU either adjust to THEIR pace or THEY adjust to YOURS.
Which begs the question. Who do you regularly walk with?
This is the power of community and surrounding yourself with people pursuing a life of never ending growth and people who demand more of themselves. It’s contagious.
Case in point, had an incredible time seeing that in action at Christine Beckwith’s Vision Summit. Met so many amazing people and friends. I had so many takeaways from this event and was incredibly proud of our team.
Preston Schmidli and I are truly grateful and honored to speak and share the stage with industry leaders to share our story.
I’m amazed at who we had the opportunity to share the stage with. Industry leaders such as Barry Habib, Les Brown, Jason Frazier, Nathan Knottingham, Christopher Griffith, Hammer J. Helmer, Joe Panebianco, Tom Mancuso, Laura Brandao, Karen Deis, Cory Parker, Eddy G Perez Jr., Ray Befus Jr., Andy Tabag, Corrina Carter, Fobby Naghmi, Eric Estevez and many more.
My goal in this event was to be a sponge and to be in as many sessions as possible. I took a lot of notes. Trying to learn as much as I can from all the speakers and panelists.
My biggest takeaway?
The cost of waiting.
Whatever it is that you want in life, you already have greatness in you. You are doing a disservice to yourself by waiting.
I remember the feeling of wanting more in life but settling on working two full-time jobs doing something I barely enjoy just to be able to save money because that was the safe choice.
It took me 6 years and almost getting into an accident to realize that the cost of me staying in my situation was more than me risking to start from scratch pursuing something of my own that I can be proud of.
Les Brown said it best “Most people fail not because they aim too high and miss but because they aim too low and hit.”
Now is the time to take action and invest in yourself. Do that one thing that has been in the back of your mind that you’ve been second guessing yourself with.
Remember that if you don’t prioritize your life.
Somebody else will.
So what are you waiting for?
